The Puffins found in the UK are the Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica), also known as the Common Puffin. It is one of four species of Puffin. These seabirds are all members of the Alcidae or Auk family. Shown in the bright colours of breeding plumage this colour landscape (horizontal) format image has the Puffin flanked by two, out of focus Guillemots (Uria Aalge).
