This colour landscape (horizontal) print of a Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias) is created from a photograph taken in Florida, US. The Great Blue Heron is the largest Heron in North America at almost 4ft (1.2m) high. Like other Herons it eats small fish, frogs, crabs and other small creatures. It finds these by walking slowly through the lakes, rivers and swamps where it lives.
